1. Double-click the Internet Mail and News 1.1 icon.
   
2. From the menu bar, click Edit and select Preferences.
   
3. Click the Mail Server link.
   
4. In the SMTP Host Name text box, type mail.activecom.net
   
5. In the POP Account text box, type your username@activecom.net
   
6. In the POP password text box, type your password.
   

   

7. Click the News Server link.
   

   

8. In the Server Address text box, type news.activecom.net
   
9. Click the Add button.
   

   

10. Click the User Profile link.
    
11. In the User Name text box, type your name
    
12. In the E-mail Address text box, type your username@activecom.net
    

    

13. Click the OK button to close the window.
