- Open Outlook Express.

- If prompted to choose a Setup Option:
- Select I already have an Internet connection set up on this
computer and I do not want to change it.

- Click the Next button.

- Click the Finish button.
- If prompted to select a folder where Outlook Express should keep your
messages, click OK to accept the default folder, or choose another
folder and click OK

- In the left frame, select Outlook Express.

- In the right frame, click Read Mail

- In the Display name text box, type your name.

- Click the Next button.
- In the E-mail address text box, type your e-mail address.

- Click the Next button.
- In the drop-down listbox, select POP3
- In the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server
text box, type mail.Active.net
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text
box, type mail.Active.net

- Click the Next button.
- In the POP account name text box, type your username.
- In the Password text box, type your password.

- Click the Next button.
- In the Internet mail account name text
box, type Active Mail (this name can be anything you want).

- Click the Next button.
- Select Connect using my phone line.

- Click the Next button.
- Select Use an existing dial-up connection.
- Select your Active connection.

- Click the Next button.

- Click the Finish button.
Configure News Settings
- In the left frame, select Outlook Express.

- In the right frame, click Read News.

- In the Display name text box, type your name.

- Click the Next button.
- In the News (NNTP) server text
box, type news.Active.net
- Check My news server requires me to log on.
- Click the Next button.
- Select Log on using: News account name
- In the News account name box, type your Active or Sprint e-mail
address (make sure to include the @Active.net or @sprintmail.com
part).
- In the Password box, type your e-mail password.
- Click the Next button.
- In the Internet news account name box, type Active News.
- Click the Next button.
- Select Connect using my phone line.
- Click the Next button.
- Select Use an existing dial-up connection.
- Select your Active dial-up connection.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
- Click the Yes button.
- Click the Yes button.
- That`s it !! :))
