  1. Open Outlook Express.

  2. If prompted to choose a Setup Option:
    1. Select I already have an Internet connection set up on this computer and I do not want to change it.

    2. Click the Next button.

    3. Click the Finish button.
  3. If prompted to select a folder where Outlook Express should keep your messages, click OK to accept the default folder, or choose another folder and click OK

  4. In the left frame, select Outlook Express.

  5. In the right frame, click Read Mail

  6. In the Display name text box, type your name.

  7. Click the Next button.
  8. In the E-mail address text box, type your e-mail address.

  9. Click the Next button.
  10. In the drop-down listbox, select POP3
  11. In the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server text box, type mail.Active.net
  12. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type mail.Active.net

  13. Click the Next button.
  14. In the POP account name text box, type your username.
  15. In the Password text box, type your password.

  16. Click the Next button.
  17. In the Internet mail account name text box, type Active Mail (this name can be anything you want).

  18. Click the Next button.
  19. Select Connect using my phone line.

  20. Click the Next button.
  21. Select Use an existing dial-up connection.
  22. Select your Active connection.

  23. Click the Next button.

  24. Click the Finish button.

Configure News Settings

  1. In the left frame, select Outlook Express.

  2. In the right frame, click Read News.

  3. In the Display name text box, type your name.

  4. Click the Next button.
  5. In the News (NNTP) server text box, type news.Active.net
  6. Check My news server requires me to log on.

  7. Click the Next button.
  8. Select Log on using: News account name
  9. In the News account name box, type your Active or Sprint e-mail address (make sure to include the @Active.net or @sprintmail.com part).
  10. In the Password box, type your e-mail password.

  11. Click the Next button.
  12. In the Internet news account name box, type Active News.

  13. Click the Next button.
  14. Select Connect using my phone line.

  15. Click the Next button.
  16. Select Use an existing dial-up connection.
  17. Select your Active dial-up connection.

  18. Click the Next button.

  19. Click the Finish button.

  20. Click the Yes button.

  21. Click the Yes button.
  22. That`s it !! :))
