   Start
       Control Panel
         Network Internet Connections
            Setup or Change Internet Connecitons
                Click Setup

Make sure connect to the internet is clicked.

Click Setup My Connection Manually

Click Connect Using A Dial-Up Modem

Make the name of the ISP activecom.net

Type the appropriate phone number in the box with no spaces or dashes

Type the username and password
Leave the "Turn On The Internet Connection Firewall" box unchecked

Check the "Add A Shortcut To This Connection To My Desktop

Click finish to have successfully created your internet connection to Active Communication

Make sure if the customer is a unop client that they type their username@unop when they fill in username and password on their shortcut.

You have successfully configured Windows XP to connect to Active.
